Most of us know the first basic rules of what to do but for those who don't and whose PC is playing up, here's the order of things to do:
a) Re-start your computer - 9 times out of 10 this will fix things
b) If not, then do a virus check
c) If all is clear then you can go on to check various websites for further clues
(see list below) OR it could indicate a possible hardware fault at which point you contact your hardware supplier or in-house computer maintenance 'guru'.
